Victoria Christian Assistance Ministry (VCAM)

“VCAM Victoria” operates a website at vcamvictoria.org. It is VCAM Victoria’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website.
Website Visitors

Like most website operators, VCAM Victoria collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. VCAM Victoria’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how VCAM Victoria’s visitors use its website. From time to time, VCAM Victoria may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

VCAM Victoria also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on articles published. VCAM Victoria only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.

Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to VCAM Victoria’s websites choose to interact with VCAM Victoria in ways that require VCAM Victoria to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that VCAM Victoria gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for membership at VCAM Victoria.org to provide a username and email address.

Those who engage in transactions with VCAM Victoria – by purchasing services, for example – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, VCAM Victoria collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with VCAM Victoria. VCAM Victoria does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Aggregated Statistics

VCAM Victoria may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its website. For instance, VCAM Victoria may monitor the most popular pages and articles on the VCAM Victoria.org site or use spam screened by the Akismet service to help identify spammers. VCAM Victoria may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, VCAM Victoria does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Business Transfers

If VCAM Victoria, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that VCAM Victoria goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of VCAM Victoria may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by VCAM Victoria and does not cover the use of cookies by any such advertisers.

Comments

Comments and other content submitted via the Akismet anti-spam service are saved on our servers unless they were marked as spam positive, in which case we store them long enough to use them to improve the service to avoid future false positives.
